RECIPE
Ingredients
1 medium size lettuce
1 small size cabbage
2 large tomatoes cut into rings
1 large white onion, cut into rings
1 small cucumber,sliced
1 green and red bell pepper
1 medium carrot, peeled and cut julliene strips
Slices of apple (optional)
Freshly ground pepper
Sauce/ Dip
Best suggestions for sauce and dips:
1. 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and 1/2 cup of catsup, mix well.
or
2. 1/2 cup of mustard and 1/2 cup of catsup, mix well.
or
3. Thousand Island Dressing; 1 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup catsup, 1pc. onion chopped, 3 tbsp. pickle relish, 1 hard boiled egg chopped, mix until well blended.
Procedure
1. Wash well and prepare all the vegetables in a bowl or plate sprinkle with ground pepper.
2. Drizzle the sauce at the top of the vegetables or you may also serve as dip.
Note:
This dish is best served during meal and snack times.
