VEGETABLE STOCK

Ingredients of an Ingredient!

Ingredients

1 large carrot, peeled and cut julienne
80g leeks
1 small head cabbage, sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 large white onion, sliced
1 stick celery, chopped
3 stick spring onion, chopped
1 knob ginger
2 liters water
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure
1. In a large pot, place all ingredients and boil.
2. Lower heat, and simmer for at least one hour.
3.Strain or use filter paper when separating stock.

Tips
For vegetable soup, boil ingredients until tender and then serve.
