CALAMARES

An appetizing appetizer!

Ingredients
1 kilo large squids
3 cups flour
3 eggs, beaten
salt
oil for deep frying

Procedure
1. Clean the squid with the heads, tentacles,diamonds and skin removed.
2. Cut into rings and season with salt.
3. Soak in the eggs for 1 minute and roll in the flour.
4. Deep fry in the heated oil until golden brown.

Tips
For the outcome of the next batch of the quids to look good, scrape or remove the left flour of the first batches in the fryer.

  3. Calamares is one of my favorite foods. I really liked it that once I was in a buffet house I have mistaken an onion ring for a calamares and I got plenty of it only to dislike it when I found out it was onions and not calamares.
